CoRoMoCo® is a communication support robot for use in nursing care facilities, that can measure vital signs and feelings when held.
Holding in a symbolic act of "being loved by someone," and the robot was developed with the idea of improving the user's peace of mind and self-worth.
CoRoMoCo® features
・ A robot designed to bring comfort to the elderly when held and talked to.
・ CoRoMoCo® becomes a part of daily life for elderly people living in nursing care facilities.
・ It measures vital signs when held, and sends data from its management terminal to caregivers based on what the individual is talking about or feeling.
・ It can help bring comfort to elderly people. Multiple robots can be gathered together during recreational activities, or individual robots can be used as conversation partners during moments of loneliness such as being alone at night.
