TPR Group Human Rights Policy
The TPR Group (TPR Co., Ltd. and its consolidated subsidiaries) believes that it is our important social responsibility as a company to promote business activities while respecting the human rights of all people involved, based on our Corporate Philosophy: “Contribute to realizing a clean and high-quality global society by offering unmatched technologies and products with superior value.”
We have established the TPR Group Human Rights Policy (hereinafter “this Policy”) in accordance with the International Bill of Human Rights, the ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work, and other international norms.
- Commitment to Respect for Human Rights
We understand that our business activities may have impacts on human rights, either directly or indirectly.
We take the utmost care not to infringe on the human rights of others and are committed to addressing any adverse impacts that our business activities may have on human rights.
We also respect human rights as defined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, and other international norms and promote initiatives toward that end.
We comply with the local laws and regulations of the countries and regions where we operate. In cases where there is a discrepancy between internationally recognized human rights principles and the laws and regulations of the country or region in which we operate, we seek ways to honor the international principles on human rights. - Scope of Application
This Policy applies to all officers and employees of the TPR Group. We also expect all of our business partners to understand and respect this Policy. - Human Rights Due Diligence
We will establish a human rights due diligence system to identify, prevent and mitigate adverse impacts on human rights and continuously implement the system. - Remedy
When we identify that our business activities have caused or contributed to adverse human rights impacts, we will address and remedy such impacts through appropriate processes. - Education
We will provide appropriate training and education and implement awareness-raising activities to ensure that our officers and employees understand this Policy and put it into practice. - Progress Check and Information Disclosure
We will continuously monitor compliance with this Policy and implement improvement measures as needed. Furthermore, we will appropriately disclose information on our human rights efforts and their progress on our website and through other appropriate channels. - Dialogue and Discussion with Stakeholders
We will hold dialogues and discussions with relevant stakeholders to identify and appropriately address adverse human rights impacts. - Prioritized Human Rights Issues
